Use the resources on this page to help you learn more about weather.  You can also learn about climate.  BTW...What's the difference?
Weather Wiz Kids - A great site with lots of information about all kids of weather and weather in general.

SciJinks: It's All About Weather - This is a NOAA/NASA site that is truly All About Weather!!

Weather Watch - This site is maintained by Scholastic and includes lots of information and fun activities.  Some of the activities may need Flash, so they might not work on an iPad, but check it out!

NOAA Research - This site includes information about El Nino, Storms and much more.  While the site may contain some links that don't work, it contains lots of great information.

National Severe Storms Laboratory - Here is another NOAA site with lots of additional research and information.

Look Out for Dangerous Weather - This site is maintained by the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) and is designed for young children, but it is full of great material.

Cloud Types - This is a very simple site with information about the different types of clouds.  It is also from UCAR.

The Cloud Lab - This is an AWESOME site by NOVA!  Check it out!

Severe Weather Preparedness Adventure - This site contains multiple sources for research about all things weather related.  This is a Young Meteorologist site.

What Forces Affect Our Weather? - This site is maintained by the Annenberg Foundation.  Some of the activities might require Flash player.

Climate - What's the difference between weather and climate?  Here the Weather Wiz Kids site gives the story.

All About Severe Weather - This page has many links to other sites about different severe weather events. Be aware that this is a commercial site of which I have no affiliation and do not endorse in any way. The links on the site are to outside pages and the ones I have checked are good sources. Thanks to Avery for finding this site!

The video below is almost 50 minutes, but it contains good information especially about the effects of severe weather on people and places.
